There are older projects: and one current
GACR 2017-19 ....
The general subject of this project is the study of metalic heteroepitaxy. The main problem is the evaluation of effects of misfit between substrate and adsorbate on the kinetics of growth and on the morphology of resulting surface features. The topic is investigated in connection with project MagDot.
Goal of the project is to study mechanisms of the formation and properties of nano structures (dots and wires) prepared by the deposition of various metals (Ag, In, Pb, Sn, etc). The focus is on submonolayer regime.
We study the formation of nanostructures with alternating stripes composed of bulk-immiscible adsorbates during submonolayer heteroepitaxy.
